Classroom Concepts JUNIOR is a pre-prep program designed to teach an explicit and sequential phonics curriculum developed from the science of reading. This program introduces phonemes and their corresponding graphemes, guiding children on how to blend these phonemes together to read words. Additionally, Classroom Concepts JUNIOR focuses on early mathematics skills, such as connecting number names, numerals, and quantities, including zero, counting using one-to-one correspondence, as well as ordering and making correspondences between collections. The program is designed around the proficiency strands of understanding, fluency, problem-solving, and reasoning. By engaging children's interest in both literacy and mathematics, the program provides a strong foundation for their future academic success.
